- Design, configure, and maintain the company's local server (On Premises), ensuring high availability, performance, and data storage management
- Manage the company domain, Active Directory (AD) or Azure AD, user accounts, permissions, and group policies
- Set up and manage local network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, Wi Fi access points, and VPNs for secure remote access
- Implement and monitor regular data backup schedules and disaster recovery plans for the local server and critical data
- Provide prompt technical assistance and troubleshooting for team members regarding hardware, software, operating systems, and network connectivity
- Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices for new hires and existing staff
- Install, update, and license business critical software, email clients, and collaboration tools
- Implement antivirus solutions, firewall rules, and security patches to protect the local server and endpoints
- Conduct routine hardware inspections and upgrades to prevent system downtime
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware, software licenses, and credentials
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 4 6 years of experience in IT Support, Network Administration, or System Administration
- Strong experience with server operating systems (Windows Server 2019/2022 or Linux)
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Management
- Hands on experience setting up and configuring Local Servers (NAS, SAN, or RAID configurations)
- Good knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and routing
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in IT Support, Network Administration, or System Administration.
- Strong experience with server operating systems (Windows Server 2019/2022 or Linux).
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Management.
- Hands on experience setting up and configuring Local Servers (NAS, SAN, or RAID configurations).
- Good knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and routing.
- Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory): CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, MCSA, or Microsoft 365 Certified.
- Excellent problem solving skills, strong communication skills, patience in dealing with non technical staff, and ability to prioritize tasks.
