About the Role
The IT System Administrator (Google-Oriented) is responsible for administering, supporting, and optimizing the organization's Google Workspace and cloud-based IT environment.

- Administer and support Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Admin Console)
- Manage user accounts, groups, access rights, and organizational units
- Configure and enforce security settings, MFA, DLP, and access controls
- Configure and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources (projects, IAM, compute, storage, networking)
- Monitor system performance, availability, costs, and security across Workspace and GCP
- Support endpoint management and device policies (ChromeOS, Windows, macOS)
- Handle user onboarding/offboarding and provide advanced technical support
- Integrate Google Workspace with third party applications and identity systems
- Maintain system documentation, procedures, and best practices
- Support backups, data retention, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- 3 6 years of experience in IT system administration
- Strong hands on experience with Google Workspace administration
- Hands on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with identity management, MDM, and endpoint security
- Understanding of IT security, access control, and data protection principles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with automation or scripting
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Google certificate required, such as Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer

Job Description
- The IT System Administrator (Google Oriented) is responsible for administering, supporting, and optimizing the organization’s Google Workspace and cloud based IT environment.
- The role ensures system availability, security, user management, and seamless collaboration across Google platforms while supporting integration with other enterprise systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Administer and support Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Admin Console).
- Manage user accounts, groups, access rights, and organizational units.
- Configure and enforce security settings, MFA, DLP, and access controls.
- Configure and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources (projects, IAM, compute, storage, networking).
- Monitor system performance, availability, costs, and security across Workspace and GCP.
- Support endpoint management and device policies (ChromeOS, Windows, macOS).
- Monitor system performance, storage, and security alerts.
- Handle user onboarding/offboarding and provide advanced technical support.
- Integrate Google Workspace with third party applications and identity systems.
- Maintain system documentation, procedures, and best practices.
- Support backups, data retention, and compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong hands on experience with Google Workspace administration.
- Knowledge of cloud based IT systems and SaaS platforms.
- Hands on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with identity management, MDM, and endpoint security.
- Understanding of IT security, access control, and data protection principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Familiarity with automation or scripting.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- 3 6 years of experience
- Experience with scripting or automation (Apps Script, PowerShell) is an advantage
- Google certificate is required, such Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer
