IT Support Technician

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain POS machines and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and network devices.
• Support and maintain barcode scanners, receipt printers, label printers, and other IT hardware equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to system connectivity and device performance.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to users.
• Configure and maintain basic networking devices including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance for IT equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement and warranty support when required.
• Ensure proper inventory management of IT assets and accessories.
• Maintain system documentation and service reports.
• Support ERP, POS software, and office applications whenever required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT support and hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of POS machines, barcode scanners, receipt printers, label printers, and related peripherals.
• Experience in desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting and software installation.
• Basic networking knowledge including LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and office applications.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support tasks.
• UAE experience will be an added advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ERP and POS software support.
• Experience in retail or supermarket IT support environment.
• Understanding of CCTV and biometric device support is an advantage.
• Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
