Position Overview

  • The IT Support Officer (Entry / Junior Level) provides first line technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and system related issues.
  • This role assists with IT operations, device setup, user account management, and technical problem resolution while ensuring reliable and efficient IT services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first level technical support to end users.
  • Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, ticketing system, or in person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Resolve technical problems within established service levels.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers and laptops.
  • Set up printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
  • Install operating systems and business applications.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and equipment replacement.
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory.
  • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts.
  • Reset passwords and manage user access permissions.

Education & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Administration, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in IT support, helpdesk support, technical support, desktop support, customer service, or internship/entry level IT experience.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux (Basic).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Outlook, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, Azure Active Directory (Basic).
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi Fi Networks.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk, Remote Desktop Tools, IT Asset Management Systems.
