The employer is seeking an IT Support Officer to assist users with technical issues and maintain smooth day-to-day IT operations.
The role is described as entry or junior level and is fully remote in the United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support and respond to enquiries through email, chat, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi, and remote-access issues.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, access permissions, configurations, software, and devices.
- Monitor support tickets, follow up on requests, and escalate complex technical issues.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows, collaboration tools, business applications, updates, backups, and maintenance.
- Maintain IT asset and support documentation and assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Follow IT security and data-protection procedures and recommend improvements for recurring issues.
Requirements
- A diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of IT support, hardware, software, and networking is required.
- Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, troubleshooting, and common business applications is required.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems, Active Directory, remote-support tools, or cloud platforms is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organizational, and customer-service abilities are required.
- The candidate should be professional, reliable, proactive, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and team-oriented.
Work Arrangement
- The position is fully remote and based in the United Arab Emirates.
