Role Overview
Experienced IT Support Executive role supporting internal staff and taxi dispatch operations remotely.
The role focuses on maintaining smooth operation of taxi dispatch systems and resolving staff issues.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for issues with taxi dispatch platforms such as iCabbi, Autocab, Cordic, Cab9, Ghost, MTData, or similar systems.
- Troubleshoot booking, driver, vehicle, pricing, accounts, dispatch, mapping, and operational issues.
- Investigate problems, identify root causes, and escalate software defects to vendors when required.
- Work with operations teams to minimize downtime and maintain efficient daily dispatch activities.
- Create, update, suspend, and remove user accounts.
- Configure permissions, roles, drivers, vehicles, operators, and other system settings.
- Configure system access and provide basic training for new staff.
- Provide remote support through phone, email, Microsoft Teams, or remote desktop.
- Guide users through troubleshooting steps in clear, non-technical language.
- Manage multiple support requests while delivering customer service.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience supporting taxi dispatch software.
- Strong understanding of driver management, vehicle management, booking lifecycle, dispatching, pricing and tariffs, accounts, zones, and mapping.
- Experience providing remote support to staff using dispatch systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Experience using TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Windows Remote Desktop, or similar remote desktop software.
- Comfortable working in rotating shifts.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 4,000 per month.
