Job Purpose

The IT Sales Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting IT products and services, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

The role focuses on selling IT solutions such as software, hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, managed services, and digital transformation projects to government and private sector clients.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets and sectors.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and market research.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Understand customer business requirements and propose suitable IT solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and requirements.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Follow up on quotations, proposals, and contract negotiations.

Proposal & Tender Management

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with internal teams.
  • Participate in RFP, RFQ, and tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with presales, technical, and delivery teams to develop winning solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company standards.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for new products, services, and partnerships.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry developments and IT solutions.

Reporting

  • Maintain accurate sales records in CRM systems.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports.
  • Forecast sales opportunities and revenue projections.

Required Skills

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with decision-makers and executives.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and enterprise software.
  • Strong proposal writing and tender management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in UAE government and enterprise sectors.
  • Existing network of clients within UAE market.
  • Experience with vendors such as , , , , and .
  • Understanding of digital transformation and managed services opportunities.

  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
