- Provide frontline technical support to operators, supervisors, and production teams experiencing issues with MES, traceability systems, or factory-floor technology.
- Troubleshoot, configure, repair, and deploy IT hardware, including workstations, tablets, barcode scanners, label printers, thin clients, and other production devices.
- Diagnose basic Windows, hardware, application, and network connectivity issues and escalate more complex problems as needed.
- Create, triage, resolve, and document support tickets, including troubleshooting steps, root causes, and resolutions.
- Partner with process engineering, quality, maintenance, and IT teams to investigate recurring production-system issues and support testing of new MES configurations and functionality.
- Perform routine IT administration, including password resets, user account support, and basic Active Directory tasks.
- Conduct preventative checks of critical factory-floor IT equipment to identify potential issues before they disrupt production.
- Support the deployment and implementation of new hardware, software, and manufacturing technology as Harbinger’s production environment continues to scale.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Foundational knowledge of Windows 10/11, PC hardware, and general IT troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work onsite during first shift, with occasional flexibility for early start times or shift-crossover meetings.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience or exposure to a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), manufacturing processes, or production traceability systems.
