Role overview
Lead the Fulfillment and Operations IT team supporting a busy Fulfillment Center operating as a 24/7 production environment.
Keep hardware, software, servers, and infrastructure running smoothly by resolving complex technology issues.
Responsibilities
- Ensure IT maintenance and troubleshooting follow Amazon policies, IT standards, and Health and Safety requirements.
- Coordinate trouble tickets and change management to strict Service Level Agreements.
- Coordinate and oversee team projects supporting technical task execution.
- Promote IT ownership, effective reporting, and internal customer satisfaction.
- Manage the IT budget throughout its lifecycle.
- Facilitate IT skills development for Fulfillment Center staff.
- Lead people, working hours, shifts, and staff scheduling.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across IT processes and initiatives.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration.
- At least three years of experience leading technology teams as an information technology operations manager.
- At least five years of Information Technology experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of hardware architectures.
- Experience with system management tools and client/server environments.
- Experience in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
