Role overview
T-Tech is seeking an IT Field Engineer to support a key client from Belfast.
The role provides 2nd line service desk support and resolves escalated technical issues.
Key responsibilities
- Own technical issues, investigate root causes, and deliver timely resolutions.
- Troubleshoot networks, servers, applications, hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Build effective relationships with client stakeholders and the client IT team.
- Maintain incident records and prepare reports on trends and recurring issues.
- Identify service improvements and stay current with technology and industry practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a 2nd line support role is required.
- Fast-paced environment experience is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, networks, and servers is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills are required.
- ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
Compensation
- The salary is listed as up to EUR 45,000, with no compensation cadence specified.
