π― Job Summary
The IT Coordinator is responsible for providing daily IT support in the office, supporting users, monitoring IT equipment, checking systems, LED screens, printers, scanners, meeting room devices, CCTV, internet, network, and related IT infrastructure.
The role is mainly office-based but may require site visits whenever needed for support, troubleshooting, installation, inspection, or maintenance.
The role requires a responsible and flexible attitude, timely response to assigned tasks, and proper coordination with the IT System Engineer, Technology Manager, Head of IT, and management.
The IT Coordinator is expected to support normal business operations as well as urgent business requirements whenever required to ensure continuity of IT services.

The IT Coordinator shall report directly to the

- for daily task assignments, technical instructions, support priorities, escalation requirements, documentation, and follow-up.
- The role may also receive functional direction from the
- Technology Manager / Head of IT / Management
- for urgent office, site, infrastructure, executive, project, or business requirements.
- π οΈ Key Duties and Responsibilities
- 1. π» Provide daily IT support to office users for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, email, internet, ERP access, shared folders, software, and general IT issues.
- 2. π Monitor office IT systems and equipment, including network devices, internet devices, switches, access points, firewalls, routers, UPS, LED screens, meeting room systems, video conferencing devices, biometric devices, printers, scanners, and related IT assets.
- 3. π₯οΈ Ensure all LED screens, presentation systems, projectors, conference room equipment, and video calling devices are working properly before meetings and management sessions.
- 4. π Respond to IT support requests received through calls, emails, WhatsApp, messages, helpdesk, or direct instructions from the IT System Engineer or management.
- 5. π§ Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, scanner, internet, Wi-Fi, email, ERP, and user access-related issues.
- 6. π Visit company sites, plants, offices, villas, or project locations whenever required to resolve IT issues, install equipment, check connectivity, or support users.
- 7. π₯ Support CCTV systems by checking camera availability, recording status, NVR/DVR access, storage availability, and reporting issues immediately.
- 8. π Support plant and weighbridge users with computers, printers, scanners, network, internet, backups, and connectivity issues.
- 9. βοΈ Monitor internet, telephone, fax, and connectivity lines, and coordinate with service providers for complaints, follow-ups, shifting, cancellation, transfer, or new connections after required approvals.
- 10. π¨οΈ Support printers and scanners by checking toner, ink, paper, connectivity, routine maintenance, service calls, and consumable stock availability.
- 11. π¨ πΌ Prepare desktops and laptops for new employees, including formatting, software installation, domain joining, email setup, signature setup, printer/scanner access, ERP coordination, shared folder access, and biometric enrollment.
- 12. π Ensure all new employees are informed about company IT policies, password rules, acceptable use, device handling, and basic IT procedures.
- 13. π¦ Maintain IT asset records, custody forms, user request forms, equipment assignment records, transfer records, and return records during resignation or termination.
- 14. πΎ Support formatting, backup, reinstallation, replacement, and troubleshooting of desktops and laptops as per company IT policy and approved instructions.
- 15. π‘οΈ Monitor endpoint security tools, antivirus/EDR status, Windows updates, device inventory, and basic cybersecurity compliance on company devices.
- 16. ποΈ Assist in new office setup, site setup, office shifting, rack arrangement, structured cabling, access point installation, network point testing, printer setup, CCTV setup, biometric setup, and meeting room technology installation.
- 17. π€ Coordinate with electrical teams, facility teams, service providers, vendors, and internal departments for IT-related work.
- 18. π§° Maintain IT store items, spare devices, cables, toners, accessories, consumables, and related equipment.
- 19. π¨ Escalate unresolved, critical, repeated, or high-risk issues to the IT System Engineer without delay.
- 20. π Follow all company IT policies, cybersecurity rules, approval processes, documentation requirements, working hours, attendance requirements, and management instructions.
- 21. β±οΈ Support urgent business requirements, executive meetings, site issues, system downtime, internet failures, printer failures, CCTV issues, and other operational needs when required, including support outside normal working hours where business continuity requires it.
- 22. β Perform any other IT support, office support, site support, infrastructure support, or user support work assigned by the IT System Engineer, Technology Manager, Head of IT, or management.
- β Required Skills and Competencies
- π» Good knowledge of desktop and laptop troubleshooting.
- π Basic knowledge of networking, IP addresses, Wi-Fi, switches, printers, scanners, CCTV, and biometric devices.
- π§ Ability to support Microsoft Office, email, Windows, ERP access, and common business applications.
- π§ Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- β‘ Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to urgent tasks.
- π£οΈ Good communication skills with users, management, vendors, and service providers.
- π Ability to maintain IT records, custody forms, inventory, and support documentation.
- π Willingness to travel to sites when required.
- π€ Professional attitude, punctuality, discipline, confidentiality, flexibility, and respect for instructions.
- π’ Ability to support business-critical requirements whenever required by management or operational needs.
- π Qualification and Experience
- π Education:
- Diploma or Bachelorβs degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- π Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, infrastructure support, office IT support, or site IT coordination.
