We’re looking for an IT Application Support Analyst to join our established IT team in Uxbridge, working in a hybrid environment.
This is a hands on role where you’ll provide first and second line support across a range of business critical applications.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, as well as third-party suppliers, to resolve issues quickly, maintain system performance and help improve the way our applications support the business.

What you’ll be doing
• Provide first and second line application support, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
• Configure, maintain and support business-critical applications.
• Investigate application, system and data issues, carrying out root cause analysis where required.
• Monitor application performance and business processes, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Analyse application inputs, outputs and data flows to ensure information is accurate and business processes continue to run effectively.
• Log and manage incidents, service requests and problems through the service management system.
• Work with third-party suppliers and vendors to investigate, escalate and resolve issues.
• Support bespoke SQL-based applications, including basic query validation and data checks.
• Contribute to improvements across applications, processes and the wider IT service.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with experience in IT Application Support, Systems Support or a similar role, with a genuine interest in troubleshooting and improving technology.
You’ll ideally have:
• Experience providing first and second line IT or application support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a structured environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Office 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience working with database-driven applications, with basic SQL querying or data validation skills.
• An understanding of incident, problem and change management.
• Experience working to SLAs, KPIs and established processes.
• The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying improvements.
