IT Application Development Manager (Remote)

The Application Development Manager leads the Application Development team in designing, developing, delivering, and supporting enterprise applications that enable business operations.

This role provides leadership and delivery oversight, along with technical guidance on application architecture, solution design, and complex technical challenges as needed.

• Lead, mentor, develop, and grow the Application Development team to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality enterprise applications aligned with business priorities.
• Establish and drive software engineering standards, development practices, code quality, and technical governance.
• Partner with Business Analysts, business stakeholders, and technology teams to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions while ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Provide leadership for application architecture, solution approaches, and complex development efforts.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical challenges and critical production issues.
• Provide leadership and governance for Duck Creek application development, configuration, integrations, and platform enhancements, ensuring alignment with business.
• Oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of application development work,
• Collaborate with partners to coordinate solution delivery, manage technical dependencies, and drive successful implementation of enterprise initiatives.
