IT Administrator

Overview

• Plan, design, implement, and maintain physical and virtual IT systems including servers, network infrastructure, and software applications.
• Administer Active Directory, Office 365, VMware ESXi.
• Configure and maintain firewalls (SonicWall, pfSense), L2/L3 D-Link switches, and enterprise wireless networks.
• Manage NAS for shared storage and disaster recovery (DR); perform server backups using Veeam with replication across data centres and branches.
• Administer centralized antivirus/antimalware protection (Avast) and maintain a tested disaster recovery plan.
• Provide administration and technical support for enterprise applications: LMS, ERP, HRMS, CMS, and Zoho.
• Manage biometric time & attendance systems (face recognition and RFID) and smart signage/device infrastructure (Smart TVs).
• Support AV setups, smart boards, and multimedia systems across classrooms, halls, and common areas.
• Coordinate technical support with external software vendors including Koha, OPEC, and Focus.
• Administer Avaya IP PBX telephone systems and manage corporate communication lines via Etisalat portal.
• Configure and maintain VPN access for remote users and ensure secure interconnectivity across all sites.
• Configure and oversee CCTV surveillance systems and biometric access controls.
• Monitor system performance and ensure security compliance across all IT assets.
• Contribute to IT strategy development, annual budget planning, and policy formulation.
• Assess, recommend, and coordinate procurement of new IT equipment and software with vendors.
