Role Overview
IT Administrator responsible for enterprise infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, networks, security controls, backup, and disaster recovery.
Infrastructure Administration
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Administer VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms and AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core network services.
- Oversee firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and network infrastructure.
- Implement patch management, endpoint protection, and access controls.
Operations and Projects
- Design, implement, and test backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues before they affect users.
- Lead or contribute to system migrations, upgrades, and new technology rollouts.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for critical incident response.
Requirements
- Experience administering Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and core network services.
- Experience overseeing firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and infrastructure security controls.
- Ability to implement patch management, endpoint protection, access controls, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Ability to monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues proactively.
- Ability to contribute to system migrations, upgrades, and technology rollouts.
- Ability to maintain accurate technical documentation and coordinate with third-party service providers.
- Availability to participate in an on-call rotation for critical incident response.
