Responsibilities
- Supervise daily irrigation operations to ensure efficient water distribution
- Oversee operation, inspection, troubleshooting, and minor repair of irrigation systems
- Inspect irrigation controllers, valves, sprinklers, drip lines, pumps, filters, pipelines, and related equipment
- Monitor irrigation schedules, water requirements, soil moisture, and system performance
- Assign and supervise daily tasks for irrigation technicians
- Ensure maintenance works are completed on time and according to standards
- Identify and coordinate corrective actions for irrigation issues
- Prepare daily work reports, manpower reports, maintenance records, and material requests
- Coordinate with maintenance team regarding equipment and spare parts
- Train and guide irrigation personnel on safe procedures
- Attend site inspections with clients, consultants, or management
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and PPE use
Requirements
- Secondary school certificate in Irrigation
- Proven experience in irrigation management or related field
- Medium English speaking and writing
- Candidates currently reside in Qatar
- 5 years of irrigation maintenance experience
