Role Overview
The IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician supervises and performs rope-access operations for high-rise buildings, commercial properties, and industrial facilities across the UAE.
The role is responsible for safe, efficient operations, team supervision, risk assessment, equipment control, and compliance with IRATA and UAE health and safety requirements.
Rope-Access Operations
- Lead and supervise rope-access teams at different project sites.
- Plan and execute rope-access operations according to IRATA International requirements.
- Establish and inspect rope-access systems and anchor arrangements.
- Carry out complex rope-access tasks independently and safely.
Safety and Rescue
- Conduct and review risk assessments, method statements, and rescue plans.
- Conduct rescue operations and emergency response procedures when required.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and fall-protection equipment.
- Brief technicians on hazards, control measures, and emergency procedures.
