Role overview
Remote, full-time IP Licensing Manager role serving the United Arab Emirates.
Manage commercialization and licensing of patents, trademarks, copyrights, software, research, brands, and other intellectual property assets.
Combine licensing strategy, contract negotiation, portfolio management, financial analysis, business development, royalty administration, and stakeholder management.
Licensing and portfolio management
- Develop licensing strategies, priorities, KPIs, revenue targets, and annual or multi-year licensing plans.
- Assess IP ownership, protection status, geographic coverage, remaining term, commercial relevance, and licensing potential.
- Identify underutilized or non-core assets and recommend licensing, protection, expansion, consolidation, or retirement strategies.
- Develop commercialization plans involving licensing, assignment, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, product development, and technology transfer.
- Identify, qualify, prioritize, and maintain relationships with potential licensees and strategic partners.
- Build and manage the licensing pipeline, CRM records, forecasts, opportunity stages, values, probabilities, and timing.
