About the Role
Habib Bakery and Supermarket seeks an Inventory Controller to ensure accurate stock control across bakery items, raw materials, and finished goods. Requires 3+ years of inventory control experience, preferably in bakery or FMCG, and strong knowledge of stock management systems and MS Excel.

Responsibilities
- Monitor daily stock levels of raw materials, ingredients, packaging items, and finished bakery products across all branches
- Record all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions in the system with 100% accuracy
- Conduct routine physical stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile variances with system records
- Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to verify delivery quantities, quality, and documentation
- Track expiry dates, product rotation, and wastage; ensure proper FIFO implementation
- Prepare daily inventory reports for management, highlighting shortages, overstock, and fast moving items
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials according to food safety standards
- Investigate stock discrepancies and report findings with corrective actions
- Support production planning by providing updated stock availability and consumption forecasts
- Monitor branch transfers, returns, and adjustments to maintain accurate stock movement records
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage areas in line with HACCP and bakery hygiene standards
- Assist in annual audits and support compliance with internal and external inventory controls
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in bakery, FMCG, or food production
- Strong knowledge of stock management systems and MS Excel
- Understanding of food safety, storage standards, and FIFO principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stock points
