As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our inventory processes.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of product flow, keeping inventory levels in check, and mitigating losses.
Your keen attention to detail and analytical skills will help in identifying discrepancies, implementing corrective measures, and optimizing inventory functions.
Working closely with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams, you will ensure that inventory operations align with business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstock and stockouts.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient inventory flow.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records and transactions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage lead times effectively.
- Utilize inventory management software to track inventory metrics and trends.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management and key stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of annual inventory budgets and forecasts.
- Implement strategies for optimizing stock levels and enhancing efficiency.
- Train and support staff on inventory control best practices and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies regarding inventory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years experience in an inventory control role required.
- Proficiency with inventory management software such as SAP or Oracle necessary.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and anomalies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping.
- Strong communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
