Inventory Control Coorindator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• · Establish and conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items throughout the production life cycle.
• · Analyze, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies. Identify problematic inventory records and transactions, ensure inventory balances are accurately maintained in all affected systems, and make appropriate adjustments.
• · Maintain the accuracy of inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems.
• · Manage inventory software and ensure the barcoding process is followed.
• · Ensure accurate and secure documentation of materials and equipment.
• · Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages and reorder needs to Purchasing and Production so material is available to meet customer demand.
• · Compile, verify, and report monthly count results, inventory accuracy rates, and adjustment activity to management.
• · Work with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, Production, Logistics, and Purchasing) to ensure inventory control practices are followed and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• · Experience with ERP or inventory management systems, barcode scanning, and handheld RF devices preferred.
• · High degree of accuracy and attention to detail required.
