- Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products for a business
- Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company’s standards
- Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management
- Reporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft between physical counts and computer records
- Implementing loss prevention programs to prevent theft
- Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs
- Researching the accuracy of product details and testing new products
- Maintaining and updating records
- Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock
- Reporting discrepancies records

- Proven work experience as an Inventory Associate or similar role
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work extended hours
- Forklift experience beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Description
- We are looking for a detail oriented, hard working Inventory Associate to join our team.
- They will have prior experience in the warehouse environment and excellent math skills for balancing records.
- Inventory associate can expect to work long hours sometimes and might have to travel occasionally.
- Inventory Associate keeps track of the goods and supplies in a store or warehouse and manages orders to facilitate sales or production.
- Their duties include signing off on shipments, making price lists, counting products, and placing orders for more inventory according to demand.
- Ultimately, you will be responsible for the inventory of all supplies and products that come in or leave the facility.
