About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare balance sheets, cashflow statements, general ledger, income statements, expense reports, and T accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets
- Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries
- Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices
- Comply with GAAP for financial statements
- Post and process journal entries
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist with reviewing payroll records as assigned
- Update financial data in databases
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Requirements
- Odoo experience highly considered
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Great attention to detail
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field
- Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus

Overview
- We are looking for an ambitious Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks through Odoo Software.
- Accountant needs to have Odoo software experience in expense app, accounting app, purchase app, reporting payables and receivables through online statements, POS and Invoice entries app.
- They should have an analytical mind and fantastic organizational skills.
- Accountants are expected to be detail oriented, have strong problem solving skills, work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.
- They should also be able to manage all the above apps and delegate them to the junior accountants.
Responsibilities
- Prepare balance sheets.
- Prepare cashflow statement.
- Prepare general ledger.
- Prepare income statement.
- Prepare expense reports.
- Prepare T accounts.
- Bank reconciliation
- Prepare all the reports through online accounting software.
- Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets.
- Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.
- Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
- Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
Requirements and skills
- Odoo experience would be highly considered
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Great attention to detail
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP)
- Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required
- BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field
Compensation
- Pay: AED3,000.00 AED4,000.00 per month
