Responsible for production materials control including maintenance of inventory system, root cause analysis and corrective action of bill of materials (BOM) issues. Creates and maintains reporting. Able to develop processes and understand the financial impact of actions.
Manage inventory through databases and maintain levels required on a daily basis to meet production needs. Analyzing inventory flow and make improvement recommendations.
Examine materials inventory transactions for completeness and accuracy.
Work closely with the Production Planning to plan packaging material requirements.
Review Open Shop orders and Production Transactions for accuracy. Generate reports to assist in reducing adjustments.
Coordinate production planning activities to include but not limited to running reports from ERP System, Scheduling System to effectively establish lot sizing and safety stocks for planning purposes.
Maintain bill of materials (BOM), routings, machine master, and item master data as it relates to production.

Work with Marketing, Planning, Purchasing, and Production to coordinate the new SKU startups and SKU changes. Manage all material conversions. Verify all information in the PIF (Product Input Form) and CIF (Change Input Form), and enter into ERP and Scheduling systems.
Conduct monthly audit for existing item set ups for accuracy. Monitor variances and generate reporting of variances and identify areas of opportunity for improvement of waste.

Review and analyze information and quantities before entering the data into the system. (shipping, cycle counts, return materials authorization, returns, rejects and productivity)
Analysis of slow-moving flavor and expired stock for recommended solutions.
On-site and Off-site material warehouse and inventory audits
Alternate to the Production coordinator
Associated reports as required.
Generate daily transfer orders from SD to MD and JIT for cans and Jones packaging material requirements.
Working with Buyer on non-BOM material purchase.
Other duties as assigned.
Working knowledge of any Manufacturing, Production and Inventory control systems: BPCS, Microsoft Dynamics AX, MIMI, Planet Together and Impromptu preferred.
COLOS Print on Demand.
Probat DMS knowledge.
High proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, and Sharepoint.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to initiate tasks without direction.
Ability to organize and work within a multifunctional team environment.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
