Position Summary
Finance Associate Intern supporting financial accounting and distributor finance activities across Gulf markets.
The role supports accurate reporting, accounting compliance, operational finance processes, and collaboration with distributors and internal finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end close activities, accrual journals, and financial reporting.
- Maintain financial records and entity accounts under accounting standards and finance policies.
- Support distributor accounting and finance processes across Gulf markets.
- Coordinate purchase-to-pay activities, vendor creation, and transaction tracking.
- Review employee expense claims and supporting documentation.
- Support purchase order management and three-way matching.
- Review distributor debit notes, supplier payments, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare distributor account statements and reconcile balances.
- Resolve financial queries and disputed items with distributors.
- Monitor collections and help clear aging balances and open items.
Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
