Role Overview
- Consultant under supervision of OGCCR Project Coordinator and overall guidance of Representative for GCC Region.
- Work in coordination with colleagues and experts supporting HRC and NCCHT in Saudi Arabia.
Tasks
- Prepare and deliver virtual training workshops on combating trafficking in persons for sexual exploitation.
- Prepare and deliver workshops on identification, protection, assistance and referral procedures for victims.
- Prepare and deliver workshops on dealing with vulnerable groups in cross border contexts.
- Prepare and deliver workshops on combating exploitative begging.
- Prepare and deliver workshops on role of media in addressing trafficking cases.
- Review and finalize self learning programmes on trafficking awareness.
- Prepare and deliver workshops on international and national legal frameworks.
- Review and finalize protocol on school based reporting of trafficking.
- Prepare and deliver workshops on identification, support and reintegration of victims.
- Prepare and deliver workshops on tourism, religious seasons, and vulnerable groups.
- Prepare and deliver workshops on ICAO guidelines on combating trafficking at airports.
- Review and finalize study on agreements with labour sending countries.
Qualifications
- Senior level expertise in trafficking in persons.
- Experience in training and capacity building.
- Knowledge of international standards and legal frameworks.
