About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage complete import and export shipment processes through sea, air, and land freight.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and transport providers.
- Ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of shipments.
- Monitor shipment schedules, ETAs, and resolve operational delays proactively.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Customs regulations, JAFZA requirements, and international trade laws.
- Oversee preparation and verification of shipping documentation.
- Manage import/export permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals.
- Develop logistics strategies to optimize transportation costs and service levels.
- Negotiate freight rates and service contracts with logistics partners.
- Monitor logistics KPIs including freight cost, transit time, on time delivery, and customs clearance performance.

- 10 years of logistics experience
- 10 years of import/export logistics experience
- Willingness to travel 50%

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with UAE Customs regulations, JAFZA requirements, and international trade laws.
- Oversee preparation and verification of shipping documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, AWBs, Certificates of Origin, and Customs Declarations.
- Manage import/export permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals.
- Develop logistics strategies to optimize transportation costs and service levels.
- Negotiate freight rates and service contracts with logistics partners.
- Monitor logistics KPIs including freight cost, transit time, on time delivery, and customs clearance performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, customs authorities, shipping lines, and warehouse partners.
