Job Overview

  • The Internal Compliance Director – Fraud Control is responsible for establishing and leading Miral’s fraud control strategy across all business units and subsidiaries.
  • This role ensures proactive fraud prevention, early detection, and effective response, while aligning with Miral’s governance framework, ADAA standards, and corporate ethics principles.
  • You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, internal audit, legal teams, and regulatory authorities to strengthen accountability, transparency, and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement Miral’s enterprise fraud control strategy and roadmap
  • Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and escalation protocols
  • Provide direction to cross functional fraud control teams
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate fraud risks across all operations
  • Maintain the corporate fraud risk register and integrate with ERM systems
  • Ensure alignment with ADAA, audit, and compliance standards
  • Lead adoption of analytics, digital forensics, and monitoring tools
  • Oversee complex and high profile fraud investigations
  • Ensure confidentiality, fairness, and legal compliance
  • Liaise with regulators, auditors, and law enforcement as needed
  • Report fraud trends and key insights to Executive and Audit Committees
  • Ensure timely escalation of critical incidents

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) – required
  • Master’s / CIA certification – preferred
  • 12–15 years in fraud investigation, compliance, or internal audit
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of ADAA regulations and governance frameworks
  • Experience building enterprise fraud control functions
  • Strategic leadership and decision making
  • Advanced analytical and investigative capabilities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication
  • High integrity and ethical standards
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics tools (Power BI, ACL, etc.)
