Job Summary
The Intern Technician will assist with testing assignments within a specified product area.
The work involves product testing, laboratory equipment operation, technical data recording, reporting, and test-result calculations.
Employment Status and Schedule
- The employment status is Student with a fixed-term arrangement.
- The time type is full time, and applicants must be available for an in-office internship.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate test equipment and perform tests according to work orders.
- Conduct routine tests and assist with complex or unusual tests under guidance from senior staff or the job holder.
- Record technical data and draft test result reports.
- Perform mathematical calculations required to summarize test results.
- Assemble and disassemble test samples and connect laboratory test equipment for testing.
- Operate most laboratory test equipment.
Education and Experience
- Applicants must be final-year degree or diploma engineering students or have completed a bachelor's degree or diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
