About the Role
Deloitte Middle East is seeking a Qatari National Intern for its Business Tax team in Doha. The intern will assist in preparing corporate tax returns, conduct research on Qatar's tax laws, and support senior tax professionals, while developing knowledge of Qatar Income Tax rules and regulations.

- Develop knowledge of Qatar Income Tax rules and regulations and their associated processes.
- Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and other tax related documentation.
- Conduct research on Qatar's tax laws, international tax treaties, and regulatory updates.
- Help in preparing tax computations, reconciliations, and related reports.
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals in analyzing financial statements for tax implications.
- Assist in responding to tax authorities' audits.
- Support in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with firm policies and local tax regulations.
- Conduct research on tax regimes in local and other tax jurisdictions.
- Research and prepare draft client reports under guidance of senior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
- Basic understanding of taxation principles, financial statements, and accounting concepts
- Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking and Writing)
- Be a Qatari National or have a Qatari Mother

Position Summary
- During your tenure as an Intern in business Tax, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Develops knowledge of Qatar Income Tax rules and regulations and their associated processes to formulate solutions for client problems.
- Assist in preparing corporate tax returns, and other tax related documentation.
- Conduct research on Qatar's tax laws, international tax treaties, and regulatory updates.
- Help in preparing tax computations, reconciliations, and related reports.
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals in analyzing financial statements for tax implications.
- Assist in responding to tax authorities' audits.

Qualifications
