At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.
The Robotics Software Engineering Intern will work with the Robotics New Product Development team to develop next generation products in the field of surgical robotics.
Duties
may include participating in the entire software development life-cycle which includes reviewing requirements, doing design, implementing the design, unit testing and integration testing.
What will you be doing?
Work closely with managers and mentors to complete specifically identified internship projects
Present project conclusion to senior leadership
Create documentation as required by the Smith and Nephew Robotics Quality Management System
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
What will you need to be successful
Education
Must be currently matriculated or within a year of matriculation in an accredited university as an undergraduate majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Must be in excellent academic standing, with a 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
Experience
Previous applicable intern, co-op, part-time or apprenticeship experience is preferred
Knowledge of C++ and other object-oriented languages is preferred.
