- Support engagement teams in completing assigned tasks and coordinate with seniors to understand engagement requirements and deadlines
- Provide regular updates on the status of assigned tasks and escalate issues when necessary
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail in all assigned work
- Respond promptly and accurately to requests and queries from team members and supervisors
- Assist in preparing and organizing working papers and documentation, ensuring proper communication and handovers to seniors
- Actively participate in team discussions, contribute ideas, and consider feedback from team members
- Demonstrate a learning mindset, curiosity, and openness to feedback to continuously improve performance
- Take ownership of personal development, seek guidance when needed, and build confidence in working with peers and senior team members

Requirements

- This internship will be for a fixed period of 6 months within the various team with BDO UAE.
- The intern will be assigned to one of the following projects, with the opportunity to effectively collaborate and support senior associates and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and be pursuing or planning to pursue professional qualifications (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA).
- Proficiency in Arabic (mandatory).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset and a strong willingness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is an advantage.
- Please note that applicants should be based in Abu Dhabi and should be under family sponsorship to be eligible for this role.
