Intermediate Electrical Technologist

• Technical and Documentation Develop and review instrumentation and electrical drawings, scope of work documents, and bill of materials. Perform design and drafting using AutoCAD in accordance with industry standards. Conduct site visits for data collection, verification, and documentation. Complete QAQC reviews and maintain accurate technical records. Follow industry standards and codes as instructed. Document work and maintain basic technical records.

• A diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician/Technology or a related field is required.
• 4+ years of related experience, though less may be considered.
• Knowledge of industry codes and regulations is desirable.
• Familiarity with drafting and design software tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites applications.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality work.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable design practices.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Valid Passport Required, with the ability to travel in North America.

• Work is primarily performed in a regular office environment.
• Travel to client sites, throughout North America is required up to 25% of time to attend meetings and to conduct field visits.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $120,000 CAD per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks.

The final offer will be determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications; their placement within our internal compensation structure; and relevant geographic cost ‑ of ‑ living considerations, where applicable.

This range represents a realistic and good ‑ faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.
