Nomad is seeking an Interior Designer with creative thinking, technical knowledge, and fit-out experience.
The role covers projects from initial concept and space planning through detailed design, site execution, and handover.
The ideal candidate has at least four years of UAE interior design experience and a portfolio of completed projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concepts, space plans, mood boards, material palettes, and client presentations.
- Produce detailed drawings, technical documentation, and 3D visualizations.
- Specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and other interior elements within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, samples, and mock-ups for compliance.
- Conduct site visits and resolve design and technical issues with fit-out teams.
- Maintain design quality and manage deliverables through completion.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum four years of professional interior design experience in the UAE.
- Experience with interior fit-out projects and completed UAE projects.
- Strong space planning, material selection, and technical detailing skills.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency and capability in SketchUp or 3ds Max with V-Ray.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Understanding of materials, finishes, joinery, furniture, lighting, and construction detailing.
- Professional communication, organization, attention to detail, and deadline management.
- Experience coordinating designs through site execution and handover.

- Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
