About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer based in India to lead and execute design projects across residential and commercial sectors.
- You will be responsible for conceptual development, technical drawings, space planning, and creating high quality 3D visualizations to deliver innovative and functional interior environments that exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present conceptual interior design proposals based on client briefs
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD
- Create 3D models and renderings in SketchUp and enhance visual presentations with Adobe Photoshop
- Develop efficient space plans and layouts that optimize functionality and flow
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is realized
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and resolve design issues
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawing and documentation
- Strong skills in SketchUp for 3D modeling and visualization
- Expertise in 3D rendering techniques to produce photo realistic presentations
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for enhancing and refining design visuals
- Proven experience in space planning and layout optimization
- Solid understanding of design principles, materials, finishes, and building systems
- Excellent communication, client management, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Familiarity with Revit or 3ds Max for advanced BIM and rendering workflows
- Experience in sustainable, green, or wellness oriented design
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or formal training
- Background in luxury residential or high end commercial project delivery
- Knowledge of Indian building codes, standards, and procurement processes
