Role overview
Lead interaction design across digital products, platforms, applications, and connected experiences.
Establish interaction-design direction while balancing user needs, business goals, technical constraints, accessibility, consistency, and performance.
Work with Product, UX Research, Design, Engineering, Accessibility, Analytics, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Operations teams.
Interaction design leadership
- Lead the Interaction Design team and define strategy, principles, standards, and quality criteria.
- Guide designers through complex product problems and promote user-centered design, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
- Translate product and business objectives into experience strategies, user journeys, product flows, requirements, and design priorities.
Team and resource leadership
- Hire, structure, coach, mentor, and manage interaction, product, and UX designers.
- Manage performance, career development, resource allocation, and succession planning.
- Plan design capacity around roadmaps, initiatives, platforms, design systems, research, and technical dependencies.
