• Required Competencies & Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a North Carolina CPS Social Worker or Supervisor
• Forensic training preferred
• Must not have been employed by Cherokee County DSS within the past 3 years (to ensure contract compliance and avoid conflicts of interest)
• Deep knowledge of NC child welfare policy, practice standards, CQI processes, and family engagement
• Strong technology skills and ability to work independently while representing company values
• Demonstrated ability to:
• Manage personal and organizational change with flexibility and emotional regulation
• Support others through change
• Adapt to evolving county needs
• Willingness to travel across North Carolina and maintain flexible work hours
• Must meet Investigative Assessment Treatment Social Worker requirements
