About National Hospital
National Hospital L.L.C. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Coordinator to join their healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, benefits, and authorization requirements
- Coordinate and submit pre-authorization requests to insurance companies/TPAs
- Follow up on pending, approved, rejected, and denied authorization requests
- Coordinate with physicians, nursing, billing, and other departments regarding insurance requirements
- Communicate with insurance companies/TPAs regarding approvals, denials, queries, and additional documentation
- Assist patients and staff with insurance-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of insurance approvals and related correspondence
- Ensure compliance with payer requirements, applicable DOH regulations, and hospital policies
- Assist with insurance reports, audits, and other insurance-related activities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Medical Coding, or a related field
- Previous experience in healthcare insurance coordination, pre-authorization, or insurance operations
- Good knowledge of UAE health insurance and TPA processes
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital/insurance systems
