About The Role

Altrad are currently looking for an Insulation Engineer to join the team at Wilton for upcoming planned works. The shift pattern is Monday to Thursday 8 hours, Friday 6 hours. The pay rate is in line with TICA agreement, £19.04 per hour plus £2 hourly bonus. The role is fixed term with an end date of 25/09/2026 approx. Must be local to site. Key Deliverables: Interpret blueprints, mechanical schematics, and building plans to plan the layout Choose correct insulation types like foam, mineral wool, or silicate based on project needs Measure, cut, and shape materials, fastening them with clips, adhesives, wire bands, or cement Add protective sheet metal cladding over insulation to guard against weather and physical damage Safely remove and clean degraded insulation or hazardous substances like asbestos following safety rules. Key Requirements: Valid TICA (Thermal Insulation Contractors Association) skill card or a relevant CSCS card Valid CCNSG Safety Passport or EMSS Certificate
