- Prepare, review, and approve design and detail engineering, specifications, calculations, and contract documents
- Lead project decisions and discussions in own discipline, guiding teams
- Develop equipment and material specifications, instrument index, input/output lists, bill of quantities, and various drawings
- Coordinate material requisitions for procurement of instrument and bulk materials
- Review vendor drawings and documents, conduct technical bid evaluation
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and alarm management reviews
- Prepare control system architecture and specifications, review vendor documents for PLC and DCS
- Conduct factory acceptance test (FAT), integrated FAT (IFAT), and site acceptance test (SAT) for control systems
Requirements
- Experience in preparation, review, and approval of design and detail engineering for instrumentation
- Knowledge of international standards, organization standards, and customer standards
- Experience with control system architecture, PLC, and DCS
- Experience in HAZOP, SIL, and alarm management reviews
- Ability to conduct FAT, IFAT, and SAT for control systems
- Experience in technical bid evaluation and vendor document review

Role Overview
- Preparation, review and approval of design and detail engineering, review of specifications, calculations, contract documents as applicable to projects and proposals.
- Ensuring deliverables with required engineering details that meet international standards, organization standards and customer standards as applicable.
- Lead project decisions and discussions in its own discipline.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver roles and responsibilities as defined, be responsible for on time, on quality and with safety corporate standards on budget engineering deliverables.
- Reporting to discipline lead or discipline manager.
- Prepare, review and monitor the development of equipment and material specifications and data sheets, instrument index, input & output lists, bill of quantities, block diagrams, cable routing, control room layouts, wiring termination diagrams, loop drawings, installation drawings, hook up drawings,
- Prepare, coordinate material requisitions for the procurement of instrument and bulk materials.
- Ensure vendor drawing review and approval in time so that materials are obtained within scheduled timeframe.
- Prepare technical queries for vendors; conduct technical bid evaluation of vendor offers, review vendor drawings and documents.
- Prepare, review and organize the issuance of engineering drawings and technical documents for inter discipline checks (IDCs), coordinate with other engineering discipline in the integration of data inputs.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, alarm management reviews.
- Meet client and vendor representatives.
- Preparation of control system architecture, control system specifications, technical bid evaluation and vendor document review of PLC and DCS based control systems.
- Experience in conducting factory acceptance test (FAT), integrated fat (IFAT) and site acceptance test (SAT) for control systems.
