Provide instruction in the fundamentals of playing the musical instrument, including posture, note reading, rhythm, technical competency, and interpretation. This position is grant-funded. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for providing instruction and assign repertoire that matches the level of each individual student.
Develop and present a curriculum that provides students with an experience in the art form that is age appropriate, and challenges students to achieve at the highest level.
Present a culminating event representing the quality of work undertaken over the course of the semester.
Performs other duties as assigned.
