Description

Main Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze learning needs, learner profiles, and performance gaps.
• Design course structures, learning pathways, and instructional blueprints.
• Write and align learning outcomes using Bloom's Taxonomy or an equivalent framework.
• Design formative and summative assessments, rubrics, and evaluation criteria.
• Translate subject-matter expertise into structured instructional content.
• Ensure alignment with accreditation frameworks and quality standards.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts, faculty members, and content developers.
• Review and quality-assure learning materials for clarity, coherence, and instructional integrity.
• Support adaptive and data-driven learning models where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of instructional design experience in higher education, corporate learning, or online learning environments.
• Strong grounding in learning theories and design models, including Backward Design, ADDIE, or Constructivism.
• Demonstrated experience in assessment design and learning outcome mapping.
• Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems such as Moodle and Blackboard.

Preferred Skills and Tools

• Experience with micro-credentials and stackable learning models.
• Familiarity with adaptive learning systems and data-informed instructional design.
• Experience designing for accreditation-driven or regulated learning environments.
• Authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Adobe Captivate.
• Video editing, text-to-audio, text-to-video AI, and text-to-image AI tools.
• Learning analytics, reporting, collaboration, content review, repositories, and version control tools.
• Accessibility and quality-assurance tools.
• UX and learning-experience prototyping tools are preferred.
