Inspector - QA/QC (RAIL)

Raise and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) for work or materials that do not meet approved requirements, following through to close-out.

Complete inspection checklists, daily quality reports and inspection request (IR) records for all inspected activities.

Maintain accurate and complete quality records, photographs and supporting documentation for each inspection.

Support the preparation of quality documentation and test/inspection packages for handover and close-out.

Liaise with contractor quality teams to coordinate inspection requests, hold/witness points and inspection scheduling.

Coordinate with the design/engineering team on non-conformances, technical queries and any deviations requiring clarification or approval.

Support internal and external quality audits and inspections, providing records and evidence as required.

Report inspection findings, quality trends and recurring issues to the QA/QC Manager, escalating significant quality concerns promptly.

Ensure compliance with the project Quality Management Plan, applicable codes/standards and contractual quality requirements at all times.

Promote a quality-first culture on site and support contractor personnel in understanding and meeting quality requirements.
