- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications
- Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and blueprints to assess compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor and enforce adherence to local and international electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Identify non compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, discrepancies, and corrective measures taken
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections for future reference and regulatory purposes
- Liaise with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address electrical compliance issues and provide technical guidance
- Promote and uphold electrical safety protocols and practices in accordance with industry standards
- Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure proper implementation of safety measures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector or similar role in the construction industry
- In depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and reporting
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across the UAE
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous
- Professional certification as an Electrical Inspector is preferred

Inspection Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
- Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and blueprints to assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
Code Compliance
- Monitor and enforce adherence to local and international electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Identify non compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions to ensure conformity with regulations.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, discrepancies, and corrective measures taken.
