Summary
The Inside Sales Specialist/Strategic Sales Support position is a multi-functional role focusing on achieving sales growth objectives for a defined book of business for small to medium non-strategic customers as well as developing business with new customers in a defined region. The role also includes supporting strategic customers in collaboration with outside sales to ensure continued growth, engagement and overall positive experience for our company’s top customers.
Responsibilities
- Ability to grow and drive sales in existing small to medium non-strategic accounts in an assigned region via outbound calls.
- Establish new business opportunities within new and existing accounts via phone, email or electronic communication in an assigned region.
- Educate customers on full product portfolio, marketing campaigns/promotions and new product initiatives in an effort to grow customer sales and revenue growth.
- Provide support to existing assigned strategic accounts to ensure continued growth, profitability and strong customer relationships.
- Work in collaboration with outside sales to assist in daily sales tasks related to strategic accounts.
- Maintain outstanding working relationships with strategic and non-strategic accounts to assure overall customer satisfaction.
- Attend manufacturer’s product training to expand product knowledge.
- Communicate with various departments to resolve customer requests and/or problems.
