Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- Eight to twelve or more years of experience in IT or security roles, including three to five or more years in security architecture.
- Experience securing large-scale multi-cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP, or hybrid environments.
Certifications
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, and CISA.
- Preferred architecture certifications include SABSA and TOGAF.
- Preferred cloud security certifications include AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, and CCSP.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of network security, identity and access management, cryptography, and cloud security architecture.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust, SASE, and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls security frameworks.
- Python and Terraform scripting or automation experience is a plus.
Professional Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Strategic thinking balanced with hands-on problem solving.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
Key Deliverables
- Produce enterprise security architecture documentation and diagrams.
- Conduct security design reviews and provide sign-offs.
