Infrastructure Consultant

These technologies include but are not limited to:

Terraform, Ansible, Helm and ARM/Bicep

Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins

Git and enterprise source-control platforms

Kubernetes and container technologies

Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud technologies

Windows and Linux operating systems

Configuration management and automation tooling

Vulnerability scanning and compliance tooling

Scripting technologies including PowerShell, Bash and/or Python

Defence DevSecOps Software Factory environments

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary technical teams.

Strong organisation and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned engineering outcomes.

Strong written communication and documentation capability.

Continuous improvement and automation mindset.

Experience working within Australian Defence, Federal Government or other highly regulated environments.

Knowledge of Defence security accreditation, Authority to Operate and security assurance processes.

Experience with Defence DevSecOps Software Factory environments.

Understanding of immutable infrastructure, platform standardisation and automated configuration compliance.

Experience developing solutions capable of deployment across on-premises, hybrid and cloud-enabled environments.

Relevant Microsoft, Kubernetes, Red Hat or DevOps certifications are desirable.
