Role Overview
Support infrastructure and capital projects through cost control, project controls, quantity surveying, and commercial analysis.
The internal title for the position is Intermediate Cost Analyst.
Cost Control Duties
- Manage budgets, costs, commitments, accruals, forecasts, cash flow, changes, reporting, assurance, and cost performance.
- Create cash flows and estimated final costs for large capital projects.
- Monitor cost analysis, controls, and reconciliation for assigned projects.
- Support invoice review, payment processing, financial analysis, reporting, and cost assurance.
Quantity and Contract Duties
- Verify and reconcile quantities, validate field quantities, support progress measurement, assess productivity, and support invoice reviews.
- Participate in contract terms, negotiations, warranty administration, commercial evaluations, and change-order assessments.
- Report project progress and contract status.
Project Controls Duties
- Prepare, monitor, and maintain acquisition project schedules.
- Support capital and operating budget preparation.
