Infrastructure and Systems Engineer

Demonstrated experience in a Level 2/3 Infrastructure or Systems Engineer role.

Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Entra ID.

Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.

Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.

Experience supporting VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.

Strong networking knowledge across switching, routing, firewalls and VPN technologies.

Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft Azure.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response and security best practices.

Experience managing backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.

Strong PowerShell scripting skills to automate administration and operational tasks.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across complex infrastructure environments.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and provide reliable technical leadership when required.

A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, documentation and operational excellence.

Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect or similar).

Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel or other Microsoft security technologies.

Experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or multi-client environment.

ITIL Foundation certification or experience working within ITIL service management practices.
