Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- At least one year of specialized experience at GS 12 level or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity policy and RMF process
- Experience conducting detailed analysis of computer system hardware and software for cybersecurity
- Experience directing and coordinating personnel in analyzing large quantities of information
- Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures and program plans
- Must obtain and maintain credentials as Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) within 12 months
- Successful completion of pre employment drug test

Summary

Duties
- You will be responsible for several information systems security networks, with over five hundred network nodes.
- You will function as the Command's focal point and principal advisor for cybersecurity matters.
- You will develop, implement, and maintain the USFF cybersecurity Program.
- You will perform detailed and complex analysis of hardware, operating systems, data communications and applications.
- You will be responsible as the Information Systems Security Manager for conducting and ensuring a Risk Management program.
- You will perform cyber security risk Assessment analysis and design countermeasures.
- You will approve the use of security solutions for cybersecurity.
- You will be the command Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees must pass E Verify.
- Generally, current federal employees must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level.
- Males born after 12 31 59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position.
- Must obtain and maintain credentials as described in SECNAV M 5239.2 for specialty area 722/Information Systems Security Manager level Advanced within 12 months.
- Annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous professional development.
- Successful completion of a pre employment drug test (including marijuana) is required.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS.
Qualifications
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS 12 grade level.
- Extensive knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity policy and instructions including RMF process, cyber incident response procedures, and Defense Cyber Workforce program.
- Knowledge of data sources, data flow, and system architecture of existing and planned systems supporting USFF.
- Experience conducting detailed and complex analysis of computer system hardware and software.
- Experience directing and coordinating efforts of other personnel in compiling, organizing and analyzing large quantities of information.
- Experience preparing detailed and informative system specifications.
- Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures, program plans, policies and standards.
- Experience applying total infrastructure protection environment; systems security certification and accreditation.
- Knowledge of methods for evaluating, implementing and disseminating IT security tools and procedures.
